Sabic Cyber Trust Compliance
SABIC requires all vendors, third-party contractors, and third parties to be inpossession of a Cybersecurity Certificate as part of its efforts to keep its digital infrastructure and sensitive information safe.
The certificate ensures that the external partners have met the cybersecurity policies and international standards of SABIC like ISO/IEC 27001 and the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC). The initiative entails a critical examination of the information security practices of the third party in access control, network security, incident response, and risk management. The certificate expires after a shelf life of up to two years and must be renewed on or before the expiration or the renewal of the contract. The achievement of the certificate is a necessity for any organization providing IT systems, digital services, software, hardware, or remote access to the network of SABIC.
